Today our 8th graders closed the chapter on their middle school years and celebrated with a day full of fun, friends, and memories. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and can't wait to see what the future holds for them.

What a day for the Class of 2030 at Cedar Point! 🎢☀️

Our 8th graders are spending the day at Cedar Point today and we hope they are having the BEST time making memories with friends before heading off to high school! 🎢☀️🦁 #minervapride

Our 8th graders had a busy and memorable day today at MMS! We celebrated their last three years with a cookout during lunch, followed by some great advice and encouragement from Danika Wagner and Braydon Wood. They did an amazing job talking with our students about getting involved and what high school life is really like.

Students also enjoyed watching a slideshow filled with memories from their time at MMS and had the chance to sign yearbooks with friends and staff. Tomorrow they are off to Cedar Point for their class trip before wrapping up their final day on Friday.

📘 Yearbook Distribution Day is Wednesday, May 27th!

Students who purchased a yearbook will be able to pick them up during lunch. We will also have time during lunches for students to sign yearbooks and celebrate another great school year together!

Didn’t order a yearbook? A limited number of extra copies will be available for purchase for $25 while supplies last. #minervapride 🦁

Reminder! 📱 Chromebook Turn-In Day is Tuesday, May 26.

Please make sure students bring both their Chromebook and charger. Also, any personal stickers added to the Chromebook or case should be removed before turn-in day. #minervapride 🦁

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸 Happy Memorial Day! MHS and MMS students and band proudly participated in several community Memorial Day events in remembrance of our heroes. Go Lions! 🦁 #MinervaPride

Due to inclement weather, the 7th & 8th Grade Band will not be performing at the Liberty Cemetery Memorial Day Ceremony.

Mr. Bigham’s 8th grade science classes had an exciting day launching their bottle rockets! 🚀 Students put their creativity, problem-solving, and science skills to the test as they watched their rockets soar. What a great hands-on way to wrap up learning this year! #minervapride 🦁

Today we celebrated our Student Council members for the 2025-2026 school year! These students work so hard and are always willing to volunteer their time to help others. From ringing the Salvation Army bell and helping with food distribution to all the activities and events we do throughout the school year at school, their leadership and dedication.

We are so thankful for their hard work, positive attitudes, and willingness to serve our school and community. As a small thank you, they enjoyed a waffle bar during lunch today! 🧇 #minervapride 🦁
