Alliance Walmart Donation 2025

Minerva Middle School received a generous $1,000 donation from the Alliance Walmart to support the school’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiative. Principal Josh Morckel accepted the donation on behalf of the school and expressed gratitude for Walmart’s continued investment in education and student well-being.

PBIS is a school-wide approach focused on promoting positive behavior and creating a safe and supportive environment for all students. The funding will be used to enhance recognition programs and student engagement efforts throughout the school year.

Walmart’s commitment to giving back doesn’t stop there. The Alliance store will also host its second annual Carnival on June 28 from 2–5 PM in the west parking lot to raise funds for Akron Children’s Hospital. The event will include games, funnel cakes, face painting, music, a petting zoo, and special guests Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. A $5 donation grants access to unlimited games, and all proceeds benefit Akron Children’s Hospital.

Minerva Middle School is proud to partner with local businesses that care deeply about students and the community.
